Cat questions about it all

This sketchbook page started on the right side with cat pose studies. An earlier piece led to a folk art window frame with cats peering out (now posting with color). And in titling it, I started thinking about the “indoor/outdoor” cat dilemma. Do we contain them to protect the wildlife, or “let them be cats?” It’s a really hard question if you care about cats AND birds. And I realized it feeds into the bigger questions of what have we humans created and can we really control it anyway?
