Morning coffee sketching

Such a lovely, peaceful way to start a day. Having spent 60 years rising to the needy alarms, and doing what I was told needed doing most of the day, retirement allows me to rise only after I’ve slept enough (or nearly enough), and decide when or if I will trade my robe for “real clothes.” But sitting with a cup of coffee lovingly made for me by my sweetie, and comparing straight nibbed foutain pens with fude (bent) nibs is just SO sweet

It’s not growling, but the little guy is not quite the cure. They’re looking at each other. They’re like OK.
